Cat Splat with Ladybug
As the Monday poster to the Stamp N Plus blog, I chose this stamp from the Patti's Kids line. You can find the stamp here: http://www.stampaffair.com/catalog/pattiskids/kids13.shtml As a cat lover and cat stamp collector I find the Patti's Cats even more appealing than Patti's Kids. The paper is from American Crafts, it is 2-sided so I used both the patterned and the plain side in my design. I used an EK Success border punch that mimics the design on the paper. I added some tiny and medium sized paper flowers. Embellished the larger flowers with rhinestone centers and the tiny ones with Ranger Stickles. The kitty's nose and the bug are made shiny and dimensional with Crystal Effects and the bug's spots are Ranger black enamel. The images are colored with Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits (OMS). I think the gingham ribbon is a retired Stampin Up product.
Welcome to a new week---It will be Friday before you know it!

Victorian Beauty
I really like this image. Well, actually it is part of an image. The actual true image has an oval frame around it. I thought I would use it a bit differently by cutting the frame off. I was quite happy withhttp://www.stampaffair.com/catalog/international/internationalpg1.shtml the way it turned out. The image is called "Cameo Portrait and Pitcher" and you can find it HERE at the Stamp'N Plus Scrap'N online store.
Enjoy your day!

This is my first blog post. I love this lighthouse stamp http://www.stampaffair.com/catalog/sea/sea2.shtml
I think it makes a great all purpose card. The background is a Cuttlebug folder. I added some $1 ribbon from Michaels that has a wavy feel to it and attached a nautical charm. Enjoy! Paulette Akagi

Fill These Shoes
I should have stamped a greeting on the bottoms of these shoes!!! They were just made for it! "Get Well" would be perfect--or "Happy Birthday." "Hello, Friend" would also work well, or "Thank You." So many possibilities. BUT it looks cute just blank too. This image works well on a square card because of its width. The six inch square cards are my favorite because it gives you lots of room to work on. Stamp'N Plus Scrap'N carries lots of different size stamps to fit in with what you are creating. Whether it is a mini card or a nice 6 x 6 or even larger, there is a size and style for everything. Visit the online store and find just the right thing for you!
Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday
It's my birthday this month. This is one of my most favorite Stamp'N Plus Scrap'N birthday images. I love the face, the hair, the dress--pretty much everything. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her in with my new Spectrum Noir pens. They I cut her out with a Spellbinders die and punched little holes into all the scallops. I made the double border on top with a border punch from EK Success. I punched the little flower out with another favorite crafting tool. I LOVE this punch from EK Success. I made the white center with some Pearl Paint. It is wonderful how so many crafting products work together so well to make such wonderful projects. I used some sweet papers from K and Company. Hope you like it!
