Snowman

I recently got a new Slice machine and have been having SO much fun with it.  I was able to use it for this card to make the snowflake embellishments.  They go so well with this snowman image that I think is absolutely adorable.  It is one of many many holiday images at Stamp'N Plus Scrap"N.  I stamped and embossed him in silver and put him on red card stock to make him pop.  I didn't want him "lost" in the snowflake paper I used.  A simple piece of think sparkly ribbon was wrapped around him before I adhered him with pop dots to the card.  If you don't enjoy coloring (I can't imagine that, but I know some of my friends don't like it) embossing is a great way to go.  The sparkly embossing powders make the image look good even without any additional color.  If you hurry, you can still make some great cards to give loved ones for Christmas!

Reindeer Games

I used two stamps to make this card.  I did something unusual for me--I stamped the background.  I didn't use any decorative papers to put this card together--it was hard for me, but I knew I could do it!
The background is stamped with a pine branch stamp that I just used randomly all over.  The I used a silver marker and went around the edge of the card front.  The reindeer image is stamped in black and colored in with alcohol markers.  I adhered him with pop dots.  I used the last of my sparkly green ribbon to embellish the card, along with three red rhinestones.  Hope you like it!
